Next on the TRGA Tee (Viroqua Hills Preview)

Welcome to our weekly preview of the next tournament on the TRGA schedule.  The Viroqua Hills Open is set for Saturday, May 17.   The golf course is in very good shape and as always will be a tough test for TRGA players in all flights.

While not overly long, Viroqua Hills will challenge every part of your game.  The rolling layout makes you to hit good shots off all kinds of lies.   The undulating greens force you to focus on speed and line on every single putt.  Viroqua Hills Director of Golf,  Ryan Nedland, has this weekend's winning formula.   "Keep your ball in the fairway and below the hole on the greens" said Nedland.   "If you do that most of the day, you will have some scoring opportunities."

With a great Wisconsin spring forecast for Saturday,  Nedland is excited.  "The TRGA event kind of kicks off our season here in Viroqua.  We're expecting a really fun day."

"Keep your ball in the fairway and below the hole on the greens. If you do that most of the day, you will have some scoring opportunities."

Last year, Troy Dobbe won the men's championship division, shooting a one-under-par 70.  Other flight winners were:Tim Darwin, Michael Ewing, Kent Drugan, Scott Hackworth, Bill Schmitt and Jean Marie Weissenberger.

Our TRGA staff can't wait to see you all Saturday morning.  If you need anything just ask.  We'll be wearing the bright green shirts!

Play well !
