TRGA Opening Weekend promises to be an outstanding weekend for area golfers. Those who play well in the Valley High Open on Saturday, April 30, will be anxious to see if they can keep it going the very next day in the season's second event, The Fox Hollow Open on Sunday, May 1. Those who aren't quite satisfied with their round on Saturday won't have to wait long to get another shot to get things going in a positive direction. Fox Hollow is not a long course by any means. It is however, like that Forrest Gump box of chocolates. "You never know what you're going to get." On a good day, the course is there for the taking (Tournament record 65). On a bad day, the train can leave the tracks rather early (See Drewiske/Cornfield 2015). But no matter what, it will be great to see our TRGA members competing and socializing after another long midwest winter.
Remember that we will have a small additional prize for players who play both Opening Weekend events and have the best two-day totals in their flight.
Also, remember to thank our host courses and all of our TRGA sponsors!
