Next Stop: Cedar Creek

A very tough test of golf awaits more than 100 players on Sunday, June 28.  The TRGA makes The Golf Club at Cedar Creek its sixth stop of the 2015 season.  Cedar Creek, a former host of the Wisconsin State Open, has plenty of challenges in store for everyone.

Whether it's water, undulating greens or healthy rough, your mental and physical games need to be sharp this weekend.   If you ask the members at Cedar Creek, most of them will agree that the rough has proved to be the biggest reason why handicaps have risen so much this season.   It's not that long, but it is very thick, making approach shots and pitch shots difficult.

On the bright side, most of the fairways are 30 to 35 yards wide.  Players who do whatever they can to keep their tee shots in the short grass will be fine.

Tee times will start Sunday at 8:00 am.  After the TRGA Cedar Creek Open, there will be three events left in the regular season.
