TRGA Championship is All Dunn

Jake Dunn didn't have his best stuff Sunday in round two of the Three Rivers Golf Championship, but he had enough to hold on to win.   Dunn's first-round 67 at Forest Hills gave him a lead that lasted all day at The La Crosse Country Club.    With the victory, Dunn earns an exemption into the 2022 Wisconsin State Amateur Tournament to be held at Sand Valley.    Jordan Graf, who fired a first-round 69 at Forest Hills, which included an amazing 29 on the front nine,  finished in second place after shooting 82 on Sunday.     Bjorn Berg, playing in his first year in the championship flight, was third.

In the First Flight, Bill Feehan's two-day total of 154 was five shots better than Trevor Schultz.

Ethan Lenertz came from behind to win the Second Flight with an 85 on Sunday.

Aaron Sharar never gave up the Third Flight lead after shooting an 80 in the first round.   His 175 total was three better than Dan Stellner.

Marv Davis erased a four-stroke deficit to take the Gold Flight championship.    Bob Schoen finished second.

In the Women's Flighted division, Krista Drewiske finished with a net score of 151.   Kaitlyn MacCharles was second with 155.

The season awards were presented at the TRGA banquet Sunday night at The La Crosse Country Club.   Aaron Bishop won the Championship Player of the Year.   Brady Fernette won the Flighted Player of the Year.   Marv Davis won the Gold Flight Player of the Year.   Krista Drewiske rallied to win the Women's Flighted Player of the Year.

Veteran TRGA member Kevin Drewiske was named the 2021 Sportsmanship Award winner.
